WALPOLE HIGH SCHOOL POST PROM PARTY

To Whom It May Concern:

It’s that time of year again when we are starting our annual fundraiser for the Walpole High School Post Prom Party. It will be held on Friday night, May 11, 2007 through May 12, 2007.

The Post Prom Party has been running for about 15 years. Each year prices keep going up on all themed events for the student’s activities. For the past few years we have been dealing with an amusement company that has been very good to us.
This year we are looking at a figure of over 5 thousand dollars just to rent a few rides for the students. That would include the automatic toilet seat racers (which is one of there favorites) Gladiator Jousting, and the World’s largest Pinball machine.
In order to keep the student’s involved and entertained the night of the Post Prom Party we are asking for your support.

We would like to know if you would be interested in making a donation to support our efforts. Your contribution will make it possible for the Post Prom Partygoers to have a great time in an alcohol free environment. Having a specific destination to attend after the prom releases the pear pressures of going to house parties and driving between the hours of 12am and 5am (which is prohibited by law for children under the age of 18).

We, the Post Prom committee, as well as the encouraging parents of the partygoers, are trying to make it all possible. Please help us make this event happen.
